The company name may not always tell your audience what it is you offer or what makes you different nor does it provide SEO opportunities like a domain name that has unique keywords that describe and are useful to your target audience. Other things to consider include determine what to avoid, beware of accidental innuendos, decide how to make it memorable, assess potential of new extension options and ensure it is easy to spell.
