Small Biz Trends gathered the thoughts of 12 Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC) members, including Due former President Murray Newlands to uncover how B2B companies can use social media to their advantage. Murray recommended doing surveys on social media to reach out and communicate with new customers. As he noted, “Not only do you get the benefit of collecting intelligence on what potential customers really want, but you also have a list of names and contact information to share evidence that you can fuflill their desires.” Other YEC members suggested creating valuable content, providing some value for the audience, focusing on brand identity, showing expertise, using different mediums, listening, humanizing all interaction, creating trust, identifying places where there are connections and having real conversations.
