Fast Company asked eCash Angela Ruth to share her thoughts on the important interview questions that a startup should ask job candidates. She’s been both an interviewee and interviewer as well as worked in startups throughout Silicon Valley.

From her experience, she identified five critical interview questions. These include where do you see the industry going; would you rather be good at a lot of things or an expert at just one; and what’s your dream job?

The other questions were what do you do outside of work, and where do you see the company in five years and what would help us get there? Finding candidates that can answer these five questions well helps to find those type of people that can handle this type of alternative workplace.
