Fast Company asked eCash Co-Founder Angela Ruth to share her thoughts on the important interview questions that a startup should ask job candidates. She’s been both an interviewee and interviewer as well as worked in startups throughout Silicon Valley. From her experience, she identified five critical interview questions. These include where do you see the industry going; would you rather be good at a lot of things or an expert at just one; and what’s your dream job? The other questions were what do you do outside of work, and where do you see the company in five years and what would help us get there? Unlike the traditional company that is established, a startup has to identify those candidates that are more flexible and have the personality to work in the ever-changing environment that a startup brings. Finding candidates that can answer these five questions well helps to find those type of people that can handle this type of alternative workplace. You can read the original article here.

Having these types of questions can increase your chances of hiring the right employee for your company. If you don’t, there can be some serious consequences. To help you understand why, check out this Due post that gives you seven reasons why you can’t afford to hire the wrong employee.
