Another free calendar app that can be downloaded on either iOS or Android devices. Since the calendar is completely customizable, you can change its appearance. Additionally, you can select to receive event notifications on what interests you most.
Jorte can also be used to catalog your daily experiences and sync calendars, schedules, and tasks across devices. It also plays nice with Google, Microsoft Office 365, Evernote, and Facebook.
7. Kin
If you miss Sunrise, then this could be the best replacement. It looks mostly like the same app as the late and great Sunrise Calendar. It’s a simple, connected calendar that lets you manage your life in one interface.
Kink also connects with Trello, Google, Wunderlist, Meetup, and Facebook. Since this app is still in its early stages, you may expect some hiccups. Currently, it’s available as an iOS app but expect Android soon.
8. Schedule Calendar
Unlike other calendar apps, this one was built as a work schedule app. A schedule puts you in control of your employee-scheduling process. The color-coded fields can then be used to indicate when an employee works.
The color-coded fields can also be used to differentiate between home and work tasks. And, since this is cloud-based, distribution, changes, and collaboration can be streamlined to just a few taps. The app is available for iOS and Android.
