Inc. collected some of the best responses to a Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC) question about the best ways to celebrate employee raises in the workplace. Included in these eight best ways was Due’s Marketing Manager’s response, which was to do it personally and face-to-face rather than by email or letter.
This provides an opportunity to provide specific reasons why they deserve the raise tied to achievement of the company’s strategic objectives. The personable approach also creates a more engaging experience. The other ways included making a formal announcement, holding a company meeting, giving them a day off and a dinner and even surprising them.
