In their round-up of helpful small business resources around the net, SmallBizDaily offered keen insight into top performing Point of Sales softwares (by popularity, total users, total customers, and other metrics), weighed in on the new EMV-enabled chip credit cards, and answered, with information from Due’s State of the Freelance Economy, the question of just how big the gig economy is. Turns out it’s pretty big! With a whopping 5.3 million freelancers currently in America, it would seem that the gig economy is not going away anytime soon.
