Among the thought leaders was Due Co-Founder and CEO John Rampton who named e-cash as a standout trend. This trend has people moving from credit cards to electronic cash. Companies are also using Venmo, Square, and other types of electronic cash to purchase products. Other trends noted included digital wallets and cryptocurrency, mobile app integration, AI integration, customer referrals, personalized shopping experiences and subscription boxes.
