Benjamin Franklin is often quoted for his witty sayings, brilliant theories, and overall gumption for a man in the late 1700’s. He once said, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.”
When we think about it from an educational standpoint, he is most certainly right. Earning a degree in a specific field does give you a leg up on somebody who may not have the degree.
However, you can also take it as pure and simple knowledge investment. Investing in yourself, investing time to learn something, and becoming the best you possibly can at it, will always accumulate dividends in your favor.
