“Wealth is like sea water; the more we drink, the thirstier we become; and the same is true of fame.”
-Arthur Schopenhauer
Water water everywhere and not a drop to drink, such could be said of the sea when you see nothing but a vast array of water, but all of it is undrinkable.
It would seem that the wealthier we get, the more we want. Granted, achieving a goal and then desiring a higher aspiration is not actually a bad thing, but when enough is never enough, it becomes a bad thing. We need to reign in our desire, let your achievements give you joy, give of yourself and whatever you achieve because giving will allow you true happiness.
