David Feherty – Dealing with Failure Determines Success

David Feherty once said, “It’s how you deal with failure that determines how you achieve success”. Many startups (and people in general) find themselves over-burdened with the thought of failure. And that fear of losing out can often be quite damaging. We have all fallen in this trap, but it’s what we do to get out of is what really shows our character.

“Fail fast” seems to be the Silicon Valley motto for startups, but why would we want to fail fast? Well, because if you’re going to fail, you may as well do it fast. Failing fast and learning from your mistakes determines how successful you are going to be in your next venture. So whether is fails, or not, is not the issue, letting it get you down is. Don’t let it get you down! Fail fast, fail strong, and get on with it.
