How to Request Access to Use the Due Payment Gateway for WooCommerce
If you own an online store built on WordPress look no further than Due to power your payments. Now you can install and use the Due Payment Gateway for WooCommerce to process payments at 2.8% flat with no hidden or monthly fees. Before you install the plugin, you’ll need to request access from Due.
Follow this quick tutorial to request access to use the Due Payment Gateway for WooCommerce so you can get started processing payments.
1. Enable Due Payments
First, you’ll need to create a free account with Due and Enable Due Payments. If you haven’t done so already, you can follow this tutorial to enable Due Payments.
2. Request Access to Live API Credentials
In order to process payments with Due on your online store, we’ll need to verify your business first. In order to verify your business we’ll need some more information from you. Click on ‘Request Live API Access’ and follow the instructions to begin this process.
Important: In order to grant access to live credentials we need to see a live website that clearly defines the products and or services you are intending to sell.
3. Due Contacts User With Verification
If your account is approved, you will receive an email from support notifying you of your account approval. If we have any questions or require more information, you will be required to provide that information in order to continue. In the meantime you can generate your Sandbox API credentials from our Sandbox App so you can start testing your integration today.
4. Access Live Credentials
Once you’ve been approved you’ll receive an email giving you instructions to access your Live API credentials. You will find these in the API section of your settings.
- Click on the ‘Settings’ tab on the left side of the Due.com Dashboard.
- Click on the ‘API’ section within the ‘Settings’ tab.
- ‘Control Copy’ your ‘API Key’ and ‘App Id’.
Important: For sandbox accounts you will need to login to your account in the Due Sandbox Account to get your Sandbox API key and App Id. Copy and paste this key into the Sandbox API Key section on your WordPress settings.
5. Install Plugins
If you haven’t done so already, you’ll need to install both the WooCommerce plugin and Due Payment Gateway for WooCommerce plugin. You can follow the tutorial here to install both plugins.

6. Connect Live API Credentials on WordPress
In order to connect the live API key with your WordPress account you’ll need to return to your WordPress dashboard. This is the final step before you will be able to process payments using the Due Payment Gateway.
- Return to the ‘Due.com Payments’ section within the ‘WooCommerce’ tab and ‘Checkout’ section.
- Copy and paste the App ID from your Due account.
- Copy and paste the API Key from your Due account.
- Click ‘Save Changes’ on the bottom of the screen once you insert your Live API Key. Make sure you have ‘Enable Due Credit/Debit Card Payments’ checked and not ‘Enable Sandbox Mode’.
Important: If you are using your test account on the Due Sandbox Site you will copy your API Key and App Id and paste it into the Sandbox API Key and App Id Section. You can generate your Sandbox Api Key and App id from your Due Sandbox Settings.
Once you complete these steps you will be able to process payments on your WordPress site at our extremely affordable 2.8% flat rate. You can also access transaction reports from the payments section in your Due.com account.
