When a business is in start-up mode or is just simply a small operation like a freelancer, they need to have tools that fit their restrictive budgets. LifeHack recently put together a list of online invoicing tools that are effective but do not cost a lot. Since accounting software can get really expensive, it’s good to know that there are at least 25 online invoicing companies out there that are free or very low cost.

Among them is Due, which was noted as evolving from just an online invoicing platform to a sophisticated company that now also serves as a  payments solution.

The company offers a wide range of payment-related services, including time tracking, project management and integration with Basecamp as well as works with international payments and various payment technology companies like PayPal.
